Zvonimir Sedlić is the Founder and CEO of Nutris, the European plant-based ingredient company building the continent’s first commercial-scale fava bean protein platform. Headquartered in Zagreb with production in Novi Senkovac, Croatia, Nutris supplies high-purity fava protein, starch, and fiber to food and beverage manufacturers across the EU and the United States.

Zvonimir founded Nutris in 2019 after one decade in agribusiness, trading, and logistics. Backed by Summa Equity and HBOR, he has raised and deployed more than €50M in growth capital, scaled the company to 70+ employees, and built a sourcing network of 400+ farming families that introduced fava as a new crop in Croatia.

He completed Harvard’s Executive Leadership program in 2025 and speaks regularly on European protein resilience, value-added processing, and the commercialization of new ingredient categories.
