Fabrizio Fabbri holds an higher education diploma in Agriculture and Forestry and a
University degree in Natural Sciences. He has some 28-year long experience in
environmental sciences and policies and has extensive knowledge of the European
Institutions having served as Environment Attaché of the Italian Permanent
Representation to the EU and as Environment Policy Adviser with a political group
of the European Parliament. During his mandates, he took part in, among others, the
revision of Directive 2009/128/EC on the safe use of pesticides, Regulation 2018/848
on organic farming and Regulation 2018/841 on i land use, land use change and
forestry. He has authored six books on environmental issues and has written several
position papers and documents including biotechnologies and nanotechnologies.
