A group of researchers from Fraunhofer IVV Germany founded Prolupin in 2010. We employ a patented process to extract the protein from sweet lupines and use it to develop innovative products: In this way, we bring delicious dairy alternatives into refrigerated display shelves with our brand LUVE and we produce customized food ingredients for the industry that can completely substitute the function of animal proteins.

Prolupin GmbH is one of the selected industry partners in the project contributing with their know-how in using climate independent lupines to cover the steadily increasing demand of plant based proteins in delicious servings.
